Patricia Baptista, 68, of Turlock passed away at Brandel Manor on Monday, Oct. 11. She was born in Riverside, Calif. to Jack and Grace Murray. She was raised in Southern California and lived in the Turlock area for 48 years.  Patricia worked for Safeway throughout the Central Valley for 35 years, ending her career as an assistant manager. She was a member of Monte Vista Chapel and was a small group leader. She was also a member of Backcountry Horsemen Club. God and family were her life.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Alvin Baptista; children, Robert Herrington of Modesto, Daniel Herrington of Texas, Christopher Herrington of Denair, Denise Davis of Turlock and Debra Nielsen of Napa, Calif.; grandchildren, Ryndee, Bryan, Kyle, Cierra, Joshua, Megan, Matthew, James, Kristopher and Ashley; and three great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Herrington.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, with burial following at Turlock Memorial Park.
