Patricia Simpson, 79, of Turlock, passed away unexpectedly at Doctors’ Medical Center in Modesto. She was born in Ventura to Clareton and Lila Simonson. After growing up in the Pico Rivera area, Patricia graduated from Whittier High School. Through the years Patricia has been a faithful homemaker and loving friend. She was a patient, compassionate person who cared deeply about people and animals. It was joyful just to be with her. She loved to bring joy and laughter to friends when they spent time with her. She was inseparable from her dog Roxie and had other dogs and cats that she cared for. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Patricia is survived by three children, Norman Martin Chambers III of Bend, Ore., Robbin Chambers of Turlock and Duane Clifton Chambers of Coos Bay, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Simpson, who passed away in 1986 after 21 years of marriage.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 at the North Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on N. Geer Road in Turlock.
