Mr. Robert “Bob” E.  Shaw, age 102 “Entered into Rest” on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Lidia’s Blessed Home in Modesto, CA.  Mr. Shaw was born in Persia and has lived in Modesto for 66 years. He was an upholsterer for 30 years and enjoyed woodworking, upholstering, reading and spending time with family and he also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  Mr. Shaw is survived by: his Son – Steve Shaw and his wife Susan of Healdsburg, CA; Daughter – Virginia Vyborney and her husband Vernon of Modesto; Brother – Jerry Eshoo of Portland, OR; Five Grandchildren – Wendy Vyborney, Devin Shaw, Nolan Shaw, Rosemary Macke and Suzanne Vyborney.  He was preceded in death by his Wife of 59 years, Ruth Shaw on July 4, 2000, Parents – Eshaia & Nana Eshoo, Sister - Panna Yohannan and Brother John Eshoo.

Services: Visitation – Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA followed by Graveside Service at 

2:00 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
