Ronald W. Jessee was born on Jan. 2, 1952 in Turlock to Marion (Jerry ) and Marie Jessee. He passed away at the age of 59 on Jan. 20, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center.
Ron graduated from Denair High School where he loved playing football, basketball and baseball. He then attended Azusa Pacific University and CSU Stanislaus where he played baseball.
In high school Ron met his beautiful wife, Pamela Jessee, and they were married on June 29, 1974. Together they had two loving children, Jerry and Nicole.
For the past 35 years, Ron has worked as a glass installer and sales representative for Paul’s Paint & Glass which is now Paul’s Glass Company. He experienced true joy while working for these two companies and providing service to their customers. Community service was an important part of Ron’s life through Turlock Little League, serving on the CSU Stanislaus Arrowhead Board, and the Turlock High School Booster Club Board. One of Ron’s true enjoyments was meeting and being with his brothers of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Turlock every Friday morning for the past 27 years.
Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, attending sporting events (San Francisco Giants, Oakland Raiders and Nevada Wolf Pack Football), golfing, working in his yard and spoiling his grandpuppy, Brody.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jessee, son, Jerry Jessee and daughter, Nicole Jessee, all of Turlock; sisters, Beverly (DeWade) Remiers Guthrie of Oklahoma and Marian Jessee of Turlock; and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Marion (Jerry) Jessee; mother, Marie Jessee; and sister, Patricia Gerhardt.
Our family would like to thank all of the wonderful family and friends who provided us support during the 29-day stay at Memorial Medical Center. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses who were so loving and caring. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
