A celebration of life for Sheryl Haworth, 50, of Turlock, will be held at a later date. She was born on Sept. 30, 1958, in Shreveport, La. and passed away on Aug. 13, 2009, at her home in Turlock.
She was an administrative assistant for the Early College Program at Modesto Junior College for Peggy Kroll. She enjoyed spending time in San Francisco, sleeping, writing poetry, writing in journals and art. She had several poems published with Maya Angelou.
Sheryl is survived by her mom, Lois Hall of Modesto; children, Joshua (Aimee) Haworth of Riverbank, Shannon and Crystal Haworth of Modesto; siblings, Andrea Moore of Turlock and Steve Cude of Shreveport, La.; granddaughters, Tayvia Branch, Alizay Branch, Angelina Haworth and Jayden Haworth; an nieces and nephews, Holley, Brandy, Joseph, Cecily, Ciera, Shaquille, Braxton, Marc and Jim. She adored and loved all of them; she was very devoted to her grandchildren and was looking forward to her first grandson who will be born in November.
