Ty Stiles, a resident of Turlock, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was 63 years old. 

Born and raised in Turlock to Bill and Virginia Stiles, Ty graduated from Turlock High School. A welder and foreman, he worked for over 10 years at Lakeside Truck Body before successfully co-owning and operating Stiles Truck Body for the last 35 years. He retired in 2018. 

A man of faith, Ty was a member of Monte Vista Chapel. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, golfing, camping, and traveling in his RV. A man of many talents, he had a knack for wood carving and metal fabrication. 

Ty married the love of his life, Merri Stiles in Turlock on August 23, 1980. Along with his loving wife of 40 years, he leaves behind his brothers, Tim (Doris) Stiles, Todd (Robyn) Stiles and Tab (Charlene) Stiles, numerous nieces, nephews and many loving extended family members.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021, at Monte Vista Chapel, 1619 E. Monte Vista Ave., Turlock. Ty was laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park.
