Family is grateful for support of community

On Oct. 27, 2009 at approximately 3:30 a.m., our home and our belongings were lost in a fire. First and foremost we would like to thank our Heavenly Father for waking our mom (Shana) up that morning and giving us the chance to live! We, the Jones family, would like to express how thankful we are to each and every person who helped us pick up the pieces to our lives and put them back together. There is truly no amount of thanks that will ever compensate for what you all have done for us. The clothing, food, blankets, dishes, toiletries, furniture, love, and support are greatly appreciated. All of the many volunteers who spent countless hours cleaning, sorting, providing clothing, bringing us meals, and helping to remove what was left of our home, will always be remembered by us. We truly appreciate the blessings that were bestowed upon us by you. There were many anonymous donations, gifts, and products given to our family and we are thankful for every item that we received! The love and comfort that was given to us will forever be cherished. Almost immediately after our home burned down we were greeted with outstretched arms that had the desire to help in any way possible. From the Red Cross to the LDS church and its members, to our community, and also family and friends, we were blessed with the opportunity to start rebuilding our lives almost immediately. Each person who helped us in any way, we are eternally grateful; and we would not be in the place we are now without any one of you! We are the most thankful that we all made it out of our home safely and together as a family. When one door closes, another door opens and this has been made very clear to all of us. We humbly thank each and every person who helped us rebuild our lives!
