Rogers will bring back the community in community colleges
a-letter-envelope-5

Dear Editor:

It is with great pleasure I urge all District 3 voters to cast their ballots for Bryan Rogers, for the Yosemite Community College District Board. Bryan grew up in the community college system, where his Father was a professor primarily at Columbia College but Modesto Junior College as well. He has taught US and AP History at several Modesto high schools for more than twenty years.

Bryan knows the community college system inside and out. He understands the importance of providing an easy step for many of our valley high school graduates to continue their education, locally. He values the ideals to make junior college not only affordable but to give our local grads access in two years to the renowned CSU and UC systems.

Bryan is not running to serve on the board so he can "learn" about community colleges, like his opponent explained at a recent forum.

He wants to provide pathways so many more of our high school graduates will turn to the YCCD colleges to continue their education, graduate, and be able to become productive citizens in our region.

Please join me and my family in voting for Bryan Rogers, YCCD Trustee, District 3.
