Cal State Stanislaus juniors Trevor Blair and Teddy Schrier were both named to the All-West Region team as it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Monday.
Blair and Schrier, both also were all-conference selections, joins the list of 12 total players from the West to make the list. Cal State Monterey Bay's Jason Owen was named coach of the year after his Otters have won five straight tournaments, including the CCAA and NCAA West Regional Championships.
For Blair, this is his second consecutive All-Region nod. He was also an All-American honorable mention a season ago. Blair finished the 2010-11 season with 10 finishes in the top 20 and a stroke average of 73.4.
Schrier had seven top 20 finishes and posted an average of 73.8.
