The 24th annual Modesto Sunrise Rotary Baseball Classic will be held at John Thurman Field in Modesto this Saturday as West meets East in a clash of the very best junior and senior players the area has to offer.

The West All-Star team will be packed full of Turlock talent with a combined nine players from Turlock and Pitman High. Cameron Matsumura, Adam Groesbeck, Brett Cumberland, Tyler Murphy, and Nick Voumard round out the Bulldogs participating in the game while Trevor Chaney, Byron Baker, Jordan Gonzalez, and Brandon Hauser constitute the representatives for the Pride.

Those aren’t the only local All-Stars, however. Patrick Dudley and Nick Mirza of Denair High were also selected to showcase their talents and will lining up with the East All-Stars.

Saturday’s game will begin at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available at participating high schools and the gate with the proceeds being donated to each high school's baseball program.
