The Denair Coyotes remain perfect in pre-season play after delivering a 37-0 shutout victory over the Madera South Stallions on Friday.

Denair wasted no time establishing dominance, lighting up the scoreboard with two touchdowns in the opening quarter. Running back Bryson Salazar fueled the hot start, carving through Madera South’s defense to set a physical tone early.

The momentum surged into the second quarter. Running back Noah Chavez found plenty of room to run, while quarterback Derek Potter carved up the secondary with precisely placed passes. By the time both teams headed to the locker rooms, the Coyotes had secured a commanding 24-0 lead, radiating confidence after a near-flawless first half.

Madera South’s night didn't get any easier after the break. Chavez nearly broke the game wide open to start the third quarter, returning the opening kickoff all the way to the end zone. Though the touchdown was called back due to a holding penalty, the Coyotes refused to let up. Just a few plays later, running back Connor Hart punched it in on a rushing touchdown. Hart proved to be a dual-threat menace all evening, following up his score with a series of crucial tackles and stops on the defensive side of the ball.

Denair's relentless pressure on both sides of the ball dictated the third quarter. Defensively, the Coyotes’ front line consistently rattled the Stallions' quarterback, while the defensive backs suffocated receivers downfield, denying Madera South any realistic scoring opportunities.

Entering the fourth quarter with the game firmly in hand, Denair played a smart, disciplined brand of football. The Coyotes leaned heavily on their ground game to drain the clock and maximize time of possession. To keep the Stallions' defense from stacking the box, Denair mixed in occasional passing plays to keep them off-balance. Madera South continued to fight, but the mountain was simply too high to climb as the Coyotes cruised to a flawless 37-0 victory.
