Hilmar's Azevedo finishes second at TVL golf championships

The Hilmar High boys varsity golf team failed to pick up a Trans Valley League championship this past Monday at La Contenta Golf Course.

 

Hilmar's Landon Azevedo scored an 80, a tie for second with Escalon's Zack Gardner. Ripon's Nick Sharp had the best score of the day with a 75.

 

Hilmar's second top scorer was Hector DeLeon at 90 and Alex Youngborg finished with an 108. Alec Cano topped out at 110. 

 

The Division-V Section Tournament will take place at the La Contenta Golf Course at 9 a.m. Monday.
