Coming off of last week’s 24-21 victory thriller over Sonora High, the Bulldogs of Turlock picked up right where they left off taking down Enochs High, 27-8, on Friday.

In their opening drive, the Bulldogs marched down the field from Enochs' 40-yard line to set up a four play drive that ended with an 18-yard grab to Patrick Green from Sean Downs and essentially would set the pace for the game.

Jevan Hogan tacked on the next two scores for the ‘Dogs with three and nine yard TD runs.

The only points for Enochs came in the second quarter after three critical penalties accounted for the continuation of the drive that set up a touchdown and a successful two-point conversion.

Player of the game and top Turlock High prospect, Green, finished the game with 2.5 sacks, two grabs for 30 yards—including a TD reception—and a critical blocked punt in the fourth quarter to set up what would be the final score of the game.

Anthony Moreno scored the final Bulldog TD after a three yard rush up the middle with 3:14 left in the fourth.

Downs finished the game going 7 for 13 with 81 yards, 1 TD pass and also carried the ball 11 times for 55 yards. Hogan topped out with seven carries for 62 yards and two TD runs. An unbelievable 27 flags were called during Friday’s match.

Turlock High will square off against Modesto High on Thursday at Joe Debely with the game set to begin at 7 p.m.
