The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department continues their investigation into a shooting Saturday afternoon that left one man dead.

The shooting was reported after 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of H Street.

The sheriff's department said the victim was an adult male, but have not released his name at this time.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident was reported by a resident in the neighborhood, who told police dispatch that multiple gunshots had just rung out.

The investigation is ongoing.
