An arson investigation has been initiated for a fire Monday night in the 300 block of N. Center. The building was the previous home of Jura’s and has been a pile of charred rubble since a previous fire in February.

Shortly before midnight on Monday several calls started coming in reporting a fire in the 300 block of N. Center Street. The fire firefighters to arrive at the scene found the ruins completely engulfed.

The cause and origin are being investigated by the Stanislaus County Fire Investigations Unit.

The area was canvassed for video surveillance.
