Sheriffs department debuts recruitment video

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department has released a recruitment video in an effort to spur interest in a law enforcement career.

The action-packed video highlights a number of the department’s specialized units, including air patrol, the dive team, court bailiffs, and SWAT, as well as making an open pitch for new recruits.

“The video is meant to be inspirational, motivational and promotional. It’s designed to educate the community about the services we provide,” Sheriff Adam Christianson said.

The 12 ½ minute video was produced by Final Cut Media for a cost of $9,615 and can be seen on the sheriff’s department website and on social media sites.

The Sheriff’s Department currently has over 60 vacancies department wide that they are attempting to fill. These vacancies include Deputy Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff Custodial, Clerks, and support staff.
