The investigation of several reports of a man exposing himself to young girls and teenagers, has led to the arrest of a Turlock man by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect in the case was identified as Tajh Deshon Collins, 29, of Turlock. The sheriff’s department arrested Collins for six offenses, but there could be additional victims.

The first incident happened on March 22 in Daly City when Collins allegedly exposed his genitals to a teenager and asked if she wanted to touch him. The incident wasn’t reported until May 5, when Collins allegedly accosted the same teenager and exposed himself again. On this occasion she reported the incident to the police department.

Additionally, Collins is accused of exposing himself to girls in Millbrae on May 5 and May 28.

A sketch of the suspect and video surveillance of his vehicle were released on May 29 and on June 7 a San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a suspect that matched the sketch and a vehicle similar to the one seen in the video surveillance. The deputy passed along the license plate number to sheriff’s department detectives.

All of the victims picked Collin’s photo out of a line-up.

The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of Collins on Tuesday. He was charged with three counts of annoying or molesting a child, two counts of engaging in lewd conduct and one count of contacting a minor for a sexual offense.

The sheriff’s department found three vehicles linked to Collins and suspect he may have exposed himself on more occasions that what is already known. The San Mateo County Times reported that Collins worked as a Lyft driver.
