The Turlock Police Department received 700 total calls, 485 calls for service and reported 221 officer-initiated calls from Aug. 24-26, 2026.

The department took 45 reports, responded to 16 traffic collisions and made 22 arrests.

Arrests for Aug. 24-26, 2026:

  • Stephen Hanson, 72, was arrested in the 1400 block of N. Golden State Boulevard on Aug. 24 for failing to update annual sex offender registration.
  • Aaron Pearson, 52, was arrested in the 800 block of E. Main Street on Aug. 24 for obscene/threatening phone calls.
  • Armando Carrillo, 64, was arrested in the 200 block of Bothun Road on Aug. 24 for battery.
  • Francisco Perez Soriano, 27, was arrested in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive on Aug. 24 for disorderly conduct with alcohol, bringing drugs to a person in jail and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Job Garcia, 30, was arrested on the corner of W. Canal Drive and N. Tully Road on Aug. 25 for vehicle theft, giving a false ID to police, possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
  • Gregory Fischer, 58, was arrested in the 3000 block of N. Tegner Road on Aug. 25 for causing a fire and obstructing a peace officer.
