The Turlock Police Department received 730 total calls, 557 calls for service and reported 180 officer-initiated calls from July 27-30, 2026.

The department took 69 reports, responded to 21 traffic collisions and made 22 arrests.

Arrests for July 27-30, 2026:

• Ivan Garcia, 24, was arrested in the 1000 block of S. Orange Street on July 27 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• Thomas Smith, 29, was arrested in the 400 block of C Street on July 27 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• Amreek Uppal, 36, was arrested in the 900 block of Wickel Street on July 27 for contempt of court: violating a protective order.
• John Atchison, 46, was arrested on the corner of Regis Street and Geer Road on July 28 for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Naresh Kumar, 27, was arrested in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive on July 28 for trespassing.
• Joseph Pineda Pimentel, 42, was arrested in the 700 block of Twentieth Century Boulevard on July 28 for stalking, sodomy by force and oral copulation by use of force.
• Oscar Cruz, 45, was arrested in the 1200 block of Fifth Street on July 28 for possession of a controlled substance.
• Armando Carrillo, 64, was arrested in the 200 block of Bothun Road on July 29 for battery of a spouse/ex-spouse.
• A male juvenile, 16, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue on July 29 for assault with a deadly weapon.
