The Turlock Police Department received 639 total calls, 511 calls for service and reported 135 officer-initiated calls from May 21-24, 2026.

The department took 56 reports, responded to 17 traffic collisions and made 22 arrests.

Arrests for May 21-24, 2026:

• Joe Ortiz, 55, was arrested in the 4700 block of N. Golden State Boulevard on May 21 for possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Jesus Sanchez, 20, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue on May 21 for inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant, battery and false imprisonment.
• Emmitt Thomas, 49, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue on May 21 for being a fugitive from justice.
• Crystal Quevedo, 37, was arrested in the 3000 block of Countryside Drive on May 21 for grand theft.
• Israel Gonzalez, 24, was arrested in the 500 block of Vermont Avenue on May 21 for violation of a court order for domestic violence and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
• Efigenia Ramos Medina, 40, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue on May 21 for child abuse with great bodily injury that could lead to death.
• Farris Geter, 37, was arrested in the 3400 block of Crowell Road on May 22 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury and aggravated witness intimidation.
• Roman Garcia, 32, was arrested in the 800 block of S. Golden State Boulevard on May 22 for possessing a controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and giving a false ID to police.
• Richard Valencia, 40, was arrested in the 100 block of G Street on May 23 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors.
• Jonathan Bonillabray, 37, was arrested on the corner of Third and A streets on May 24 for battery, disorderly conduct under the influence of a drug and obstruction of a peace officer.
