A Turlock woman was arrested on allegations of domestic violence after pouring bleach on her sleeping husband.

The Turlock Police Department was dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center around 4:20 a.m. Sunday for a report of possible abuse.

The victim spoke with officers and said his wife was upset with him and poured bleach in his eyes while he was sleeping. In the ensuing commotion, the wife also slammed his finger in a door, which required sutures at the hospital.

Officers went to the home in the 2000 block of Justice Court and found the man’s bleach-soaked clothing, which was collected for evidence.

The wife, identified as Wendy Foreman, 55, was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
