Two masked men pistol whipped and threatened the life of a 39-year-old woman Tuesday morning in a failed attempt to get marijuana from a Turlock residence.

The victim was standing outside a Turlock home in the 300 block of Montana Avenue around 8 a.m. Tuesday smoking a cigarette when two men snuck up behind her.

One suspect hit the woman in the back of her head with a pistol, while the second served as a lookout, Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis said.

The suspects told the woman they would kill her if she cried out for help, Lewis said.

The two suspects demanded the woman hand over any marijuana she had and proceeded to ransack the home in search of the narcotic. Finding none, they left empty-handed, Lewis said.

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the police report.

The police department asks anyone with information on the attack to call Officer Nimrod Khamo at 668-5550 ext. 6754.
