New watering schedule beginning Nov. 1
conservation corner pic

The City of Turlock’s winter watering schedule will go into effect Nov. 1 and will continue through Feb. 28.

The winter watering schedule limits outdoor watering to one day per week, with even numbered addresses allowed to irrigate on Saturdays only and odd numbered addresses allowed to irrigate on Sundays only. Watering will continue to be prohibited between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The City of Turlock encourages customers to turn off their sprinklers during the fall and winter months. Shorter days, cooler temperatures, and plant dormancy are all reasons to stop, or significantly reduce, landscape watering. As a reminder, there is no watering during or within 48 hours after measurable rainfall.
