Turlock Fire seeks community advisory board members
Turlock fire
The council was slated to consider on Tuesday a measure that would end the Modesto Fire Administration Services Agreement in June, but that action item was pulled from the agenda.

The Turlock Fire Department is officially inviting community members to apply for a seat on its newly established Community Advisory Board.

Announced this month, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between local emergency responders and the public by bringing fresh ideas, diverse experiences, and local perspectives directly to the table.

According to department officials, the new board is designed to strengthen ongoing communication, foster closer collaboration, and build deeper connections between the Turlock Fire Department and the residents it serves.

Local leaders stress that the board represents "more than just a seat at the table," framing it as a highly collaborative partnership for residents who are passionate about community engagement and eager to make a lasting difference in Turlock.
