Frances Stewart celebrated her 104th birthday on Friday at Main West Nursing and Rehab Center.  Turlock Mayor Gary Soiseth stopped by to wish her happy birthday and give her flowers.  Stewart was born in Arkansas and moved to California when she was 54 years old. Her family first settled in Indo, and later moved to Delhi.  She and her husband have seven children and several grandchildren.  She has out lived her husband, whom she lost 45 years ago.  She has also outlived two of her children.  She attributes her longevity to working hard and not worrying.  Frances attended school through the 8th grade and spent many years working in factories.  She has experienced the horse and buggy days and when cars were invented she was the driver of the family.  When asked what is one of the greatest moments of her life, she said the birth of all of her children.
