Love Turlock: The citywide volunteer effort called Love Turlock will be held on April 26. There are projects for all skill and ability levels. The day starts at 8 a.m. at Donnelly Park and ends with a thank you lunch at noon, also at the park. To sign up for a volunteer project, visit loveturlock.com.

Tractor Pulls: The Mid-Valley Spectacular Truck and Tractor Pulls will be held at 4:30 p.m. April 26 at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25 at the gate and parking is $10, cash only. For more information, call (209) 595-3129. The fairgrounds is located at 900 N. Broadway, Turlock.

Garage Fest: Modesto’s citywide garage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 26. A live map will be published the morning of the event, where shoppers will be able to see every participating home and  what  selling — from furniture to baby gear, antiques to sports equipment, and so much more. Fruit & Nut Festival: The 35th annual Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 26 and 27 in downtown Hughson. There will be a farmers market, over 100 vendors, a beer garden, kids zone and classic car show. For more information, visit hughsonchamber.org.
