Missionary Gospel Fellowship is holding its annual mission conference at Calvary Baptist Church in Turlock, Sunday through Tuesday. MGF conference features speaker Clayton Dougan, a native of Scotland who will speak on the importance of evangelism and “The Key to Effective Ministry.”

“We strongly encourage people that if they are interested in renewing their relationship with God to attend this event,” said Missionary Gospel Fellowship director Jay Hyatt.  “This conference serves as a great opportunity to come and get acquainted with our cross-cultural missionaries.”

MGF also welcomes community members for Bible lessons and singing beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 700 E. Monte Vista Ave., followed by a church service.

Missionary Gospel Fellowship was founded in 1939 by a group of Christian businessmen in Turlock as an outreach to Dust Bowl immigrants to California.  MGF has grown to include all of North America in cross-cultural outreaches to a variety of ethnic groups.

“MGF Ministries all work toward the command given to evangelize and make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Although this is the end goal of each ministry, each one is unique because of the people, the culture and the location. Discover how our missionaries are ministering in unique ways,” said Hyatt.
