Parents looking to focus children’s rambunctious behavior during the winter break can turn to a kitchen staple: eggs. Gemperle Farms has initiated the latest component to their new and improved website —a video series on egg-related crafts, recipes and science experiments.

In October Gemperle Farms launched an educational website that contains product information, company history and a Kids Corner. The company’s latest installment to the website of over a dozen videos aims to “educate customers on what makes Gemperle Eggs special while having fun at the same time” according to company President Steve Gemperle.

“These videos take an egg and transform it from a kitchen staple into an interesting and engaging science experiment, recipe or craft,” said Gemperle.

To encourage individuals to investigate the website, Gemperle Farms is hosting an online contest titled “Holiday Video Viewing.” To participate in the Holiday Viewing Video contest contestants simply need to watch a video on the company’s website and send Gemperle Family Farms an email at susangemperleabdo@gmail.com with the subject line “Gemperle Farms Video.” Emails should include names and the number of videos watched and contestants will receive one entry into the drawing for each video watched.

“The contest aims to cultivate a richer, more interactive experience for our customers. Our educational videos are the ideal platform to teach kids about the Gemperle Egg Ranch, but really it’s all about having fun,” Gemperle said.

Prizes include Amazon gifts cards with first place receiving a $300 gift card, second place a $200 gift card and a $50 gift card for third place. The contest runs through Friday, and a winner will be randomly drawn on Monday. For a complete list of rules visit gemperle.com.
