Veteran David Bailey tied a yellow ribbon on the railing around the War Memorial Canon in honor of a loved one during the Vietnam Veterans recognition ceremony held Friday in Central Park

For the fourth annual commemoration ceremony Vietnam veterans, their families and the community are invited to attend and tie a yellow ribbon on the historic canon fence in honor, or memory, of a Vietnam veteran.

The City of Turlock has been honoring Vietnam veterans for the past three years as part of the city’s commitment as an official Vietnam Commemorative Partner.
