Officially founded in 2013, the GreenPal mobile app has served several states and over 200 major markets nationwide. This year, the service has continued to expand its reach launching in a number of smaller cities and towns. This week, the company announced that GreenPal will finally be available to Turlock residents and those in the surrounding area.

“After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Turlock find reliable, safe and local lawn care,” said co-founder Gene Caballero. 

Caballero explained that the GreenPal apps allows residents to find local, pre-screened lawn professionals to landscape their yards. Additionally, homeowners can list their own lawns with a service date and lawn care need for local businesses to view. These businesses can then bid on their properties based on Google Street and aerial images, similar to how popular carpool services like Uber and Lyft operate.

Once landscape businesses choose which homes they’d be willing to serve, homeowners can then select who they want to work with based on the vendor's ratings, reviews and prices.

According to Caballero, GreenPal has over one million users signed up and over 25,000 landscaping professionals running their business on the app nationwide, predominately from major metropolitan areas like Chicago, Los Angeles, San Jose, New Orleans, Miami, Detroit and St. Louis. As the company expands into smaller areas of the country, the numbers are expected to grow.

The GreenPal app is currently available on the Apple and Android stores and is also on desktop through their official website, www.yourgreenpal.com. Turlock residents can also go directly to the area-specific landing page at www.yourgreenpal.com/local/lawn-care-turlock-ca to save a step in the sign-up process.
