The Turlock Library offers the city’s youngest residents an opportunity to actively engage in literature through weekly story times.

The Turlock Library hosts a preschool story time at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Thursday. The 30-minute story time features new and classic picture books, flannel board and puppet stories, fingerplays, music and dancing, all for preschoolers aged 3 to 5 years and their caregivers.

Wiggle Worms is held at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Wednesday at the library for babies, active toddlers and their caregivers. This story time features books, lap bounces, music, dancing, rhythm activities and fingerplays.

A special unicorn pajama story time will be held at 6:30 p.m. June 19. Families are invited to wear their pajamas and join Turlock Mayor Gary Soiseth for a unicorn-themed story and craft.

The Turlock Library is located at 550 Minaret Ave. For more information about these and other library programs, call 209-664-8100 or visit stanislauslibrary.org.
