NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS
downtown trick or treat 1

Ghouls, goblins and a princess or two traveled from business to business on Main Street this past Saturday as the annual Downtown Trick-Or-Treat event took place. The collaboration between over 40 downtown businesses allowed kids like Johanna the ghost to collect candy while Charlie and Beatrice, a pair of cow wranglers, had passers-by stopping in their tracks to say, “Aw!” as they shopped at the Turlock Certified Farmers Market. Throughout the city, children also had the chance to grab goodies safely at local trunk-or-treat events, like those held at Turlock Christian School, where Emerson dressed as Sally from “Nightmare Before Christmas” played a game of musical chairs, and First United Methodist Church, that saw Logan dressed as a zombie feed bean bags to hungry monsters.
