History of Business: Off the beaten path and tucked behind East Olive Avenue storefronts hides Rejuve, a quaint space for locals to relax and enjoy salon treatments.

With a location that affords some privacy, Rejuve is a secret oasis in Turlock that offers clients a respite from the hustle and bustle of the downtown.

“It’s definitely an intimate feel and I think people like that,” said owner Lorna Davis.

While the salon has been at the same location for the past 15 years, Davis became the owner two years ago and renamed it Rejuve. The space reflects Davis’ sentiment that clients should feel relaxed and comfortable when they come to the salon, evident by the neutral tones and relaxing atmosphere. Davis manages four other stylists at the salon, which offers a full range of services from cuts and colors to Brazilian blowouts, a professional hair smoothing treatment.

“We have very strong color specialists and hair stylists,” said Davis of her staff.

Aesthetic and massage therapy services are slated to begin in upcoming weeks, and there is a mini nail bar in the space.
