The holidays is often a time to give, but for those at Best RV in Turlock the giving has just begun.

The local company is presently donating $100 to the United Way for every vehicle sold during the month of January. The United Way of Stanislaus County represents a host of local organizations that work to advance the common good by focusing on education, income, and health. By partnering with the United Way, Best RV hopes to give back to individuals all over the Central Valley.

“We have been very successful in the RV business for over 10 years and want to help others lead successful lives as well,” said co-owner Nile Ammari in a release. “Shoppers visit our dealership from all over California and this is one way we can give them something back that will make a difference throughout the Central Valley.”

With the biggest selection of travel trailers in the area, the dealership anticipates selling at least 150 trailers as many customers come specifically for the Best RV show. With sales representatives from manufacturers that come from across the country to not only assist the Best RV salesmen but the customers as well, the annual event could easily raise $15,000 for United Way organizations, said accounting manager Alicson Marchitiello.

“There will be a booth out front from the United Way and they will determine where the money goes because they know where the funds are most needed,” said Marchitiello, noting that the money raised will be distributed to different types of organizations.

There will also be a stand for free hotdogs on Saturday as well.

“We try to make it a fun and lively place for people,” said Marchitiello.

All sale prices include pre-delivery inspection, deep cycle battery box, full propane tanks, starter kits, an orientation to the vehicle and VIP membership.

Best RV Center is located at 5340 Taylor Court and is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
