Train fatality victim identified as Turlock resident

The woman killed when she was struck by a freight train in Modesto on Monday has been identified as a Turlock resident. The Stanislaus County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Verona Ovrahim, 30. The Modesto Police Department stated Ovrahim was on the Union Pacific railroad tracks at Eighth and I streets when she was struck by the freight train.
