Turlock man killed in Hwy 132 motorcycle collision

A solo crash east of Waterford resulted in the death of a Turlock man on Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The deceased was identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner's Office as Joseph Fraiser, 63.

The collision happened around 4 p.m. Friday on Highway 132, just west of Crabtree Road.

Fraiser was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson westbound on Highway 132 and was approaching a left bend in the roadway. For an as yet unknown reason, Fraiser's motorcycle left the paved portion of the road and entered the dirt shoulder.

According to the CHP, Fraiser lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected. He sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

It's unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.

Fraiser was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
