Turlock resident and assistant principal at Mitchell Senior Elementary, Jenn Handy, walked away from her “Wheel of Fortune” appearance with $7,600 in cash and prizes and a second place finish.
Handy, who was selected as a contestant at a Wheelmobile stop in Stockton earlier this year, appeared on the popular game show Tuesday night.
Handy started off strong in the second round with a string of correct guesses before landing on a “Bankrupt” which ended her roll.
She won a toss up round with a correct answer of “Top of the Charts,” earning her $4,000, and a speed up round by correctly guessing “Rolling Stone Magazine,” bumping her up to $7,600.
“It was a once in a lifetime experience,” Handy said of her appearance on the show.
