Anice Louise Shepson, 94, a resident of Covenant Village Care Center of Turlock, went to be with her Lord following a brief illness.
She was born in Pennsylvania to Paul H. & Mabel E. Miller.  She attended college during the depression, graduating with a Bachelor degree in 1937 from Nyack Bible Institute.
She married Rev. William B. Shepson also in 1937 and together went on to serve the churches of the Christian & Missionary Alliance and later the Mission Covenant Churches.  After retiring, they moved to Sunnyvale, CA and started a paper goods store.  Shortly after Mr. Shepson’s death in 1986, Mrs. Shepson settled in Turlock, later moving to Covenant Village, where she enjoyed life and had wonderful care.
She is survived by her children, Durwin Shepson, Joanne Nelson, William “Bill” Shepson, Marcia Perez and Richard Shepson; her siblings, Marcus Miller and Herma Lawrence.  Anice also had 5 children, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation and burial will be private at Turlock Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday March 13, 2010 at Berg Hall at Covenant Village, 2125 N. Olive Ave in Turlock.
