Anita went home to Heaven today after suffering a major stroke.

Holding her hand was her husband of 58 years, Jim (James).  Also at her bedside were her children, Lynn Hull of Turlock, Alan Dawson (Diane) of Santa Cruz and Neal Dawson (Nancy) of El Portal.

She was an especially loving grandmother to her 2 grandkids, Kayla Hull (Terry Edwards) of Stockton and Sr. Airman Tyler Coyle of Ft. Meade Maryland.

Anita was always helping others, putting others before herself.  She helped the homeless, supported Westside Ministries and Teen Challenge.  She made monthly donations for many years to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Anita was a member of First United Methodist Church in Turlock.  She had a very strong faith and welcomed meeting her Savior.  She collected angels and butterflies for their beauty and freedom.

She was always up for an adventure, the the beach being one of her favorite places.  Each year on their anniversary she and Jim would spend it at Pismo Beach.

Crafting was a favorite past time.  She knitted many dish cloths which she freely gave away even to the repair man.

Those who were fortunate enough to know her loved her.

Services will be held at Allen Mortuary on Friday, December 2nd at 11:00am with a graveside service to follow in Santa Nella at 1:30pm.

The family would like to thank Memorial Medical Center for their loving care.
