Barbara Sue Weeden, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was born November 25, 1946 in Lynwood, California to Johnnie and Jean (Crowley)Brown. In November 1972 Barbara married Malcolm Weeden in Turlock, California. They were married 40 years until his passing in 2012. She was an LVN for five years. In 1987 she opened Barbara’s Daycare from her home in Delhi California. Over the next 25 years she cared for over 100 children.

Barbara was an active member of her church community at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Turlock, California. She served on the altar guild as well as the vestry. She was also active in her children’s PTA and a long time member of PEO in Turlock.

A few of her favorite pastimes were camping, cooking reading, and anything involving the ocean. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her three children, Matt, Amy (Earl) and Megan, her son-in-law, Mike, and her daughter-in-law, Erin. She had four grandchildren Annie, Mark, Carter , and Sutter.

Her memorial service will be held on February 2, 2024 at 2 PM at St. Francis, Episcopal Church in Turlock.
