Bob R. Blake, 59, of Turlock, passed away on Saturday. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 at Winton Cemetery in Winton.
Bob was the owner of Blake Transportation in Delhi, but spent the last several years in the medical field, a passion of his since his time in the Navy where he served as a medic in Vietnam on the USS Midway. Bob will be remembered as a friend to all and a man who loved his family deeply. He was a member of the Turlock Seventh-Day Adventist Church, a lover of fishing, hunting, flying RC helicopters with his sons, and watching Western movies.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; his parents, Raymond and Ramona Blake; his sister, Cindy Sprinkel; his children, Debbie McBride, Chad Blake, Raymond Blake, Robert Blake, Tita Mezzasalma and Gabe Jaramillo; grandchildren, Marissa and Jacob McBride, Gracie, Emma, and Beau Blake, and Angelica Jaramillo; and niece, Tami Beebe.
