Carlos Baltazar, 70 passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Friday. Carlos was born to Juan and Sarah Baltazar in Pocatello, Idaho, and has lived in Turlock for 43 years.  Many know him best from the 45 years he spent serving his community as as a Barber; 43 of those years were spent as the owner/barber of his own barber shop on West Main. When he wasn’t working he loved being outdoors, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, participating in outdoor sports, dancing and socializing. His big personality lit up a room; his generous heart and love of his family and friends will never be forgotten. He will be truly missed. 
Carlos is survived by his children, Carlos Baltazar Jr. of Modesto, Erlinda Baltazar, Fernando Baltazar, Alex Baltazar, Gloria Baltazar, Raymond Baltazar all of Turlock and Frank Baltazar of Planada; 24 grandchildren , 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings Rachel Baltazar of Manteca, John De Salez of Turlock, Erlinda  Gamch of Pleasanton, Angie Mayo and Tony Baltazar both of Merced, and  Manuel Baltazar of Modesto.
Allen Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm on Thursday, Jan. 24th  and will conclude with a Rosary that will begin at 7:00pm.
The mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church On Friday, Jan 25th at 1:00pm, burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park .
