Dhar Uppal, 45, of Turlock, passed away tragically at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Dhar was born in Wolverhampton, England to Jagtar and Gurbaksh Uppal. He attended school in England before the family moved to California in 1977. He attended Delhi and Livingston schools and graduated from Turlock High School in 1988. He studied to become an HVAC technician for 2 years at UTI Technical Institute in Phoenix before moving back to Turlock. He worked at Atlas Copco Compressors LLC for 15 years based out of Fremont CA along with his brother Kashmir Uppal. He loved his family, his friends, and the Dallas Cowboys. He regularly hung out with his friends at Table 26 and talked football. Dhar enjoyed travelling back to England, and he enjoyed dressing up.

Dhar was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and 5 siblings: Manjit (Balwinder) Chahal of Washougal, WA, Amreek Uppal of Beaumont, TX, Amarjit (Kuljit) Uppal of Keyes, CA, Pardip (Daljit) Uppal of Turlock CA, and Kashmir (Vera) Uppal of Keyes CA; nieces and nephews: Anthony Uppal, Nicole Uppal, Steven Chahal, Chandini Chahal, Jordan Uppal, Raja Uppal, Sonia Uppal, Adominick Uppal, Sonny Uppal, Harmen Uppal, Sunil Uppal, Rihanna Uppal, Sebastian Uppal, Julian Lua, and extended members of the Dhillon, Mann, Uppal, and Kandola families. 

  Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, November 18th from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral Service at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, November 19th from 12 to 2 pm. Cremation will follow the service.
