Doris June Ross passed away on April 3, 2010, at the Franciscan Convalescent Hospital in Merced. Mrs. Ross was born in Warren, Ohio in 1926, where she received her associate’s degree in Education. Mrs. Ross lived in Florida, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia before she settled in Merced in 1987. She was a substitute teacher for 15 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Slovak; sons, David and Craig Ross; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
