Eberheart Anderson, 86, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House after a short illness. “Ebe” was born in Phillips, Nebraska to Arthur and Hilma (Danielson) Anderson. The family moved to Turlock, CA when he was 10. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1944. He married Marjorie Hypes Worswick in 1947 and she helped him complete his high school education while he was in the Navy. He served as a Postal Clerk while in the Navy for a total of 10 years. He served in World War II and the Korean War. As a young man he worked for several Turlock merchants before working 30 years as a Technician with Pacific Bell Telephone Company.

Ebe was an active man and loved traveling and camping by RV. He has been active in local organizations including Beulah (Turlock) Covenant Church, Turlock Masonic Lodge #395, the Scottish Rite, VFW, Moose Lodge, he was a clown with the Shriners, Turlock SIR’s, and in his last few years he was the “Active CEO” at Paramount Court. He was well loved and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie after 50 years of marriage and by 4 sisters: Lillian Bain, Vi Torosian, Ruby Mord, and Josephine Hendricks. He is survived by his three daughters: Judy (Curt) Green of Denair, Pam Haile of Denair, and Lindy (Lyle) Maslen of Hermiston, OR, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Wed, Dec 5th from 4 to 6 pm. Burial and military honors will be at Turlock Memorial Park at 10 am on Thurs, Dec. 6th.  Celebration of Life will be in the Allen Event Center on Thurs, Dec 6th at 1 pm.  Memorial contributions are suggested for Community Hospice or the Turlock Community Theatre.
