Elaine Weed, longtime resident of Turlock passed away in Concord, CA at age 92.
She was born in North Platte, Nebraska where she was raised and attended schools. She moved with her family to California in the 1940's and settled in Turlock where she resided for the next 60 years.
She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Turlock, the Rebecca's lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nels C. Weed in 1978.
She is survived by her children, Roger Weed of Walnut Creek, Christopher (Shellie) Weed of Stockton and Marilyn Weed of Martinez. She is also survived by her grandson, Ryan Morgan of Martinez.
A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Turlock Memorial Park.
