Elberta Israel, 82, of Waterford, passed away peacefully in her home, with her family by her side. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Allen Mortuary. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
Elberta is survived by her children, Frances McAllister of Oakdale, Elva Plummer of Oregon, Mildred Haemmerle of Tennessee, David Israel of Minnesota; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
