A memorial service for Evelyn Yamaguchi will be held 11 a.m. on Sept. 5 at Turlock Presbyterian Church on Berkeley Road. She passed away in Turlock on Sept. 2.
Evelyn was born in Florin, Calif. on Dec. 7, 1926, to Kiyoshi and Sachi Shimizu. She is survived by her son, Paul and his wife, Kathy; her daughter, Susan; and grandchildren, Toshio, Mariko, Michelle, Kevin, Jocelyne and Caitlin.
