Franklin Lankford, born in Keene, Texas, passed away Feb. 20 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson at the age of 76.
Frank was married to Bonnie Showin-Lankford for 17 years and they had six children. He is survived by daughter, Shellie Lankford Jones of Turlock; sons, David Lankford of Denair, Martin Lankford of Keyes and Alan Lankford, Steven
Lankford and John Lankford, all of Turlock; sister, Nora Luse-Blattler of Modesto; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.J. and Icy Lankford; and brothers, Bobby Joe, Alfred James, Marvin Wayne and Jack Lankford.
Viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on March 1 at Allen Mortuary, with burial to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
