Gwendolyn Gardner, 60, of Turlock, died Oct. 8 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main St., Turlock.
Gwendolyn was born in September 1949 in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker for 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher L. Gardner of Turlock; sons, Nathan Jerry Lira and his wife, Gayle, Munoz of San Jose, Tony Lira of Turlock and Robert Lira Jr. of San Jose; brothers, Charles Tillman of San Diego, Jack Tillman of Texas and Elmer Smith Jr. of Colorado; sisters, Carol of New Castle, Okla. and Joyce of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Lira in 1984.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias funeral service of Turlock.
